2025 EVANSTON JR. WILDKIT FOOTBALL

Founded in 1994 the Evanston Jr. Wildkit Football & Cheerleading Program (EJWK) is a grassroots youth mentoring and football organization. We are excited to celebrate our 30th Season. For more than 25 years we were part of the
Central Suburban Youth Football League. The CSYFL had to shut down in 2021 and we have been playing in the the Chicagoland Youth Football League (TCYFL). This is a much bigger league with a variety of different levels
of football. This is tackle football. We are looking to do Cheer again this season, but we need volunteer coaches. Email Coach Nykel Himrod (jwcheer@gmail.com) if you are interested. Cheer has their own registration.

We are excited for this new opportunity to play new towns and continue our program.

2025 EJWK CHEERLEADING

JR. Wildkit Family,


EJWK Youth Cheerleading is for girls and boys ages 6-14 focuses on building confidence, teamwork, and athletic skills in a fun and energetic environment.
Participants learn fundamental cheer techniques, including jumps, and chants, and team building and self-esteem while developing strength, flexibility, and coordination.
Teams are grouped by age and skill level, allowing each cheerleader to progress at their own pace.
Practices emphasize discipline, spirit, and sportsmanship, preparing athletes for performances at sports events, competitions, and community showcases.
Beyond physical skills, youth cheerleading promotes friendships, leadership, and a positive team mentality, making it an exciting and rewarding experience for young athletes.
I want every cheerleader to have every opportunity to be the best and to understand hard work. 
We want to let them use their autonomy to explore their world and be able to handle challenges and make effective decisions, team building and friendship.
I would like to build all cheerleaders up to understand how trusting and working with others can be beneficial to them in the long run. 
I want the cheerleaders to have fun and give words of encouragement.

2025 EJWK SPRING SPEED & SKILL DEVELOPMENT CAMP

EJWK SPRING SPORTS CAMP


JR. Wildkit Football Family,
You don't get what you want, you get what you work for! 
Evanston Jr. Wildkits Football is excited to announce our Spring Football Speed & Skill Development Camp. Modeled on collegiate spring football, the  Non-Contact  camp will emphasize speed and conditioning training, position specific development and 7 on 7 game play competition.
 
The 8-week camp will run from Thursday , 1 May through Thursday 26 June. Camps will take place every  Tuesday and Thursday evenings from  5:30PM - 7PM at  Channelside Park 3219 Main St Evanston ( Field Across from Food For Less). Tuesdays will emphasize speed training and physical conditioning and feature additional instruction from track & field coaches and physical trainers. Thursdays  will be all football, with practices split between position specific development and non-contact game play competition.

When:  Tuesday & Thursday evenings
Time:  5:30PM-7PM
Where: Channelside Park 3219 Main St Evanston ( Field Across from Food For Less)
What to bring: weather appropriate workout gear, athletic cleats, water bottle with your name on it.
As this is a fully outdoor activity face masks are not required but may be worn to conform to individual or parental preferences.

COST: $100
